At LBKP, we believe that organizational culture is not created in documents, structures or procedures, but in everyday relationships, conversations, gestures, and moments when the team comes together not only as lawyers but as people. The Christmas Eve celebration has been one of those moments/events for us for years — an opportunity to slow down for a moment, look at the past year from a distance, and remind ourselves that the strength of LBKP has always been, and will always be, its people.
This year’s Christmas Eve had something truly special. It was a year of intense growth — a team that once consisted of just eleven people now exceeds thirty. And yet, the atmosphere of the event remained surprisingly intimate and warm, as if the size of the team had no impact on how closely-knit we are. On one hand, there was the dynamic of a growing organization; on the other, the spirit of a close-knit community where everyone finds their place.

Christmas Sweaters, Three Thousand Lights, and a Fir Tree That Became a Symbol
This year, as per tradition, the Christmas Eve celebration took place in our Wrocław office. It’s a space that is perfect for such gatherings: warm, bright, and appropriately prepared for the December atmosphere. The focal point was a three-meter fir tree adorned with three thousand lights, which, from the first glance, was impressive not only in size but also in the atmosphere it created. Beneath its branches were gifts — winter sets prepared with each team member in mind.
The theme of this year’s dress code was Christmas sweaters, which turned out to be a perfect choice. Colourful, fun, sometimes fully thematic, they immediately set the tone for a relaxed and light atmosphere, perfectly balancing the intense nature of the past year.
Integration at Its Best: Gingerbread, Winter Tea, and Random Wishes
One of the elements that most stood out to the participants was the gingerbread decorating station. Various forms were created here: from Christmas classics to a tree that became the informal “hit of the evening”. Everyone decorated as they wished — for themselves or for someone in the team — adding a light and positive energy to the whole activity.
Another ever-popular attraction was the winter tea corner. Aromatic spices, citrus, honey, and ginger additions — all of this created a scent that lingered in the office long after, building the holiday atmosphere not only visually but through all the senses.
A special touch was also the “random” wishes exchange. Everyone drew a card with the name of the person they were to wish well, which introduced an element of freedom, spontaneity, and unexpected, heartfelt conversations. This simple solution allowed many people to talk to each other in configurations that rarely occur in a dynamic team.
Speeches, Summaries, and Gratitude for the Year Gone By
During the Christmas Eve celebration, there were also short speeches from the partners. These were words of thanks for the team’s exceptional involvement in major projects, for the flexibility and readiness to act, which we witnessed many times in the past months. It was a year of numerous challenges, but also impressive achievements — ones that required both expertise and collaboration, as well as trust.
Many words of gratitude were spoken, many smiles shared, and many simple gestures confirmed that LBKP is a place where people genuinely care about one another.
The Christmas Eve That Confirmed One Thing: We Are a Team
It’s hard to describe the atmosphere of this year’s event in one sentence, but if we had to try, the closest would be: intimate, close, festive, and united.
In an office filled with the light of Christmas lights, the smell of gingerbread and tea, among conversations at shared tables and surrounded by the people who make up our law firm, LBKP’s Christmas Eve was more than just a company gathering. It was a reminder that our growth — both organizational and professional — is always built on two pillars: knowledge and relationships.
And the latter require time, attention, and space, which we try to nurture just as much as we develop our projects and skills.
The Christmas Eve celebration is one of the symbols of this care.
And although we are growing as an organization, one thing remains unchanged: we know how to be together in a genuine and authentic way.
